Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, dispatch, and accurate inventory management.
- Coordinate and schedule efficient delivery routes and logistics for local and regional distribution.
- Monitor and analyze logistics performance data, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
- Ensure strict compliance with all safety regulations, company policies, and transportation laws.
- Manage relationships with carriers, suppliers, and internal departments to optimize workflow and communication.
- Utilize logistics software and systems (WMS, TMS) to track shipments, manage inventory, and generate comprehensive reports.
- Resolve any logistical issues, discrepancies, or customer inquiries promptly and effectively.
- Supervise and provide training to junior logistics staff and warehouse personnel as required.
- Participate in strategic planning for warehouse layout, equipment utilization, and process enhancements.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Logistics Coordinator or similar role in a fast-paced warehouse & delivery environment.
- Strong knowledge of supply chain management principles and warehouse operational best practices.
- Proficiency in logistics software (e.g., WMS, TMS) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Exceptional communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal abilities.
- Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical skills with a proactive approach to challenges.
- Ability to work effectively and collaboratively in a dynamic, deadline-driven environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
