As an A&R Assistant, you will be instrumental in supporting our A&R executives, assisting with various aspects of artist discovery, development, and project management. Key Responsibilities
- Assist A&R executives with researching and scouting new musical talent across various genres and platforms.
- Organize and maintain databases of artists, demos, and industry contacts.
- Provide administrative support, including scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and preparing presentations.
- Attend live shows, showcases, and industry events to identify potential artists and network with professionals.
- Facilitate communication between artists, producers, engineers, and legal teams.
- Help coordinate demo submissions, recording sessions, and mixing/mastering processes.
- Research current music trends, streaming data, and social media analytics to inform A&R strategies.
- Contribute creative ideas for artist development, branding, and promotional campaigns.
- Proofread and review contracts, agreements, and other important documents.
Required Skills
- Strong passion for music and a broad knowledge of current music genres and artists.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with keen attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) or Google Workspace.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
