Job Description

As an Au Pair, you will play a crucial role in supporting the family with childcare and light household duties. Key Responsibilities
- Provide reliable and engaging childcare for children, including morning routines, school/nursery drop-offs and pick-ups.
- Organize and supervise age-appropriate activities, playdates, and outings.
- Assist children with homework and encourage learning through play.
- Prepare simple, healthy meals and snacks for children.
- Perform light household tasks primarily related to the children, such as tidying play areas, children's laundry, and keeping children's rooms neat.
- Ensure the children's safety and well-being at all times.
- Communicate regularly and openly with the host parents regarding the children's progress and any concerns.
- Participate in family life and contribute to a positive home environment.
Required Skills
- Proven experience with childcare (babysitting, nannying, or caring for younger siblings)
- Genuine love for children and ability to engage them creatively
- Excellent communication skills in English (verbal and written)
- Responsible, mature, and patient demeanor
- Adaptability and willingness to integrate into a new family environment
- Non-smoker
- Valid driver's license (advantageous, but not essential for all families)
- Eligible to live and work in the UK
Preferred Qualifications
- First Aid certification for children
- References from previous childcare roles
- Experience with children of various ages
- Basic knowledge of British culture and customs
- Interest in cultural exchange and learning new things
