Job Description
Club Xpose is seeking a vigilant, professional, and customer-focused Bouncer to join our night duty security team in Pipeline, Nairobi. This crucial role is at the forefront of maintaining the safety, order, and enjoyment of our esteemed guests and staff. As a Bouncer, you will be responsible for upholding club policies, managing entry, preventing disturbances, and responding effectively to any security concerns that may arise during operating hours. Key Responsibilities
- Monitor entry points, check identification, and manage guest flow to ensure compliance with age restrictions and club policies.
- Conduct regular patrols of the club premises to deter undesirable activities and identify potential security risks.
- Respond promptly and effectively to incidents, conflicts, or emergencies, utilizing de-escalation techniques when necessary.
- Enforce club rules and regulations, addressing unruly or disruptive behavior professionally and firmly.
- Provide assistance to guests and staff, offering directions, information, and maintaining a welcoming yet secure environment.
- Collaborate with internal teams (bar staff, management, DJs) to ensure seamless operations and swift resolution of issues.
- Complete incident reports accurately and promptly for all security-related occurrences.
- Adhere to all health and safety guidelines, including fire safety procedures and emergency evacuation protocols.
- Assist with crowd control during peak hours and special events.
- Monitor CCTV surveillance systems if required and report suspicious activities.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in security or a similar bouncer role, preferably in a nightlife or hospitality setting.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Strong observational skills and attention to detail.
- Physical fitness and the ability to stand for extended periods, patrol, and handle physical confrontations if absolutely necessary.
- Demonstrated ability to de-escalate conflicts and resolve disputes peacefully.
- Customer service orientation with a professional and approachable demeanor.
- Vigilance and a proactive approach to security challenges.
- Knowledge of local security regulations and licensing laws.

Preferred Qualifications
