Key Responsibilities
- Assist experienced bricklayers and masons with various tasks on construction sites.
- Prepare work areas by cleaning, setting up scaffolding, and organizing materials.
- Mix mortar, concrete, and other binding agents according to specifications.
- Transport bricks, blocks, and other masonry materials around the job site.
- Learn and practice proper techniques for laying bricks, blocks, and stones under supervision.
- Clean and maintain tools and equipment daily.
- Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and company policies.
- Help with site cleanup and waste removal.
- Observe and learn about different types of masonry bonds and finishes.
- Contribute positively to a team-oriented work environment.
Required Skills
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
- Ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Good physical stamina and ability to lift heavy materials (up to 50 lbs).
- Reliability and punctuality.
