Key Responsibilities
- Warmly greet and assist passengers with a friendly and welcoming demeanor upon their arrival and departure at the station.
- Provide accurate and up-to-date information regarding bus schedules, routes, fares, and travel procedures to passengers.
- Help passengers with luggage loading and unloading as needed, ensuring careful and safe handling of all belongings.
- Effectively direct passengers to the correct bus or designated waiting area, maintaining order and ensuring efficient boarding processes.
- Assist with basic ticket verification or passenger manifest checks to ensure correct passenger allocation.
- Communicate clearly and effectively with bus drivers and dispatchers regarding passenger counts, special requests, and departure times.
- Actively maintain the cleanliness, tidiness, and overall organization of the bus station premises and waiting areas.
- Handle passenger inquiries, address minor concerns, and process feedback with professionalism, escalating complex issues to management when necessary.
- Support minor administrative tasks such as maintaining simple operational logs or basic records.
- Adhere strictly to all established safety protocols and company policies to ensure a secure and safe environment for both passengers and staff.
Required Skills
- Excellent verbal communication skills in both English and Swahili.
