Key Responsibilities
- Create, modify, and manage 2D and 3D CAD models and drawings based on sketches, specifications, and verbal instructions.
- Assist senior designers and engineers in developing detailed design documentation for various projects.
- Ensure all designs and drawings adhere to company standards, industry specifications, and project requirements.
- Perform dimensional checks and verification of drawings for accuracy and completeness.
- Revise existing drawings and models as necessary to reflect design changes or updates.
- Maintain organized and accessible digital design files and project documentation.
- Collaborate with engineering and project teams to understand design intent and integrate feedback.
- Participate in design review meetings, offering insights and learning from experienced professionals.
- Stay updated with the latest CAD software features, tools, and industry best practices.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in at least one major CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Revit).
- Strong understanding of drafting principles, geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in design work.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
- Basic knowledge of materials and manufacturing processes relevant to design.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
