Key Responsibilities
- Continuously monitor multiple CCTV screens and surveillance systems for any unusual or suspicious activities, security breaches, or potential threats.
- Operate and manipulate CCTV cameras remotely to gain comprehensive views and track subjects or incidents.
- Promptly respond to alarms and alerts, assessing the situation and initiating appropriate protocols.
- Accurately log all incidents, observations, and actions taken in a detailed and timely manner.
- Communicate effectively and professionally with on-site security personnel, management, and emergency services as required.
- Provide clear, concise, and accurate incident reports and evidence for investigations.
- Adhere strictly to all data protection, privacy, and company policies and procedures.
- Assist in the identification of individuals involved in incidents and provide support for evidence gathering.
- Perform regular system checks to ensure all CCTV equipment is fully operational and report any faults.
- Maintain confidentiality of all sensitive information and intelligence gathered.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of security procedures and protocols.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in a CCTV monitoring or security control room environment.
- Excellent observational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions under pressure.
- Proficiency in using various CCTV software and surveillance systems.
- Solid understanding of security protocols and emergency response procedures.
- Basic IT literacy for logging incidents and report writing.
- SIA (Security Industry Authority) CCTV Public Space Surveillance Licence is essential.

- First Aid qualification.
