As a Construction Helper with Career.zycto, you’ll be an integral part of our project teams, supporting skilled tradespeople and contributing to the successful completion of diverse construction projects across residential, commercial, and institutional sectors. You’ll gain hands-on experience in various aspects of construction, from site preparation, material handling, and debris removal to assisting with concrete pouring, basic framing, and finishing touches. Key Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, masons, etc.) with various tasks on construction sites.
- Load, unload, and transport construction materials, tools, and equipment safely.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment by clearing debris, trash, and hazardous materials.
- Perform basic labor tasks such as digging trenches, mixing concrete, sweeping, and raking.
- Operate hand and power tools safely under supervision (e.g., shovels, brooms, wheelbarrows, drills).
- Erect and dismantle temporary structures like scaffolding, barricades, and ramps as instructed.
- Follow all company and site-specific safety regulations and procedures.
- Prepare and clean up work areas, including demolition and site preparation tasks.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
