Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently transport medical specimens, supplies, and documentation between healthcare facilities and laboratories.
- Adhere strictly to all specimen handling, temperature control, and biohazard safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate records of pickups and deliveries, including specimen integrity and chain of custody.
- Operate company vehicles in a safe and responsible manner, following all traffic laws and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, clients, and team members regarding route status or any delays.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any maintenance needs promptly.
- Handle confidential patient information with the utmost discretion and in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
