Key Responsibilities

  • Engage with guests from diverse backgrounds, providing exceptional customer service and assistance.
  • Facilitate and lead a variety of onboard activities, games, events, and entertainment programs for all age groups.
  • Assist with the execution of embarkation and disembarkation procedures, ensuring a smooth experience for guests.
  • Provide accurate information about ship facilities, daily schedules, port itineraries, and shore excursions.
  • Maintain a safe and welcoming environment for all guests and crew members.
  • Support the entertainment and activities team in setup, execution, and breakdown of events.
  • Act as a brand ambassador, upholding the cruise line's standards of service and professionalism.
  • Collaborate effectively with a multicultural team to achieve departmental and ship-wide goals.

Required Skills

  • Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills in English (additional languages a plus).
  • Strong customer service orientation with a proactive and friendly approach.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic, and diverse environment.
  • High level of energy, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude.
  • Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Adaptability and flexibility to changing schedules and duties.
  • Basic computer proficiency.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in hospitality, customer service, entertainment, or resort industries.
  • Experience working or living abroad, demonstrating cultural sensitivity.
  • Certification in CPR and First Aid.
  • Proficiency in additional languages (e.g., Portuguese, French, Spanish, German).
  • A degree or diploma in hospitality management, recreation, or a related field.
