Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, addressing inquiries, and providing information on ZB Bank's products and services.
  • Process transactions accurately and efficiently, including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and bill payments.
  • Resolve customer complaints and issues promptly and professionally, escalating complex problems to the appropriate department when necessary.
  • Educate customers on various banking channels, such as online banking, mobile banking, and ATM services.
  • Identify opportunities to cross-sell or up-sell ZB Bank products and services that meet customer needs.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all banking products, services, policies, and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and internal banking policies.
  • Document customer interactions and transactions accurately in the bank's systems.
  • Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment within the branch.

Required Skills

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a customer service role, preferably within the financial sector.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a patient and empathetic approach.
  • Proven ability to resolve customer issues effectively and efficiently.
  • Proficiency in using computer systems and standard office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
  • Ability to work accurately and meticulously under pressure.
  • High level of integrity and trustworthiness.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • A Diploma or Degree in Banking, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Ability to speak local languages common in Mashonaland Central Province.
