Career.zycto is actively seeking diligent and motivated Day Shift Production Operators to join our client’s thriving team in the Mill Woods area of Edmonton. Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor various production machinery and equipment in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Perform routine quality checks on products to ensure they meet specified standards and identify any defects.
- Load and unload materials and products from production lines, ensuring proper handling and storage.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety policies and procedures, including wearing appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, performing regular housekeeping duties to support a safe and efficient environment.
- Troubleshoot minor equipment issues and report any major malfunctions or maintenance needs to supervisors.
- Complete production logs, reports, and other documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to optimize production flow and problem-solve.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and training programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Assist with inventory management tasks, including counting and reconciliation of materials.
Required Skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
- Basic understanding of machinery operation.
- Physical stamina and ability to lift up to 50 lbs repetitively.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Adherence to strict safety guidelines and procedures.

Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience (6+ months) in a manufacturing or production environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Forklift certification or willingness to obtain one.
- Familiarity with Quality Control (QC) processes.
- Basic mechanical aptitude for troubleshooting equipment.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications for data entry.
