Job Description

Career.zycto is seeking an inspiring and strategic Director of Learning & Development to lead our talent enhancement initiatives. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing comprehensive learning strategies that align with our organizational goals and foster a culture of continuous growth for our clients and internal teams. You will be instrumental in identifying skill gaps, developing engaging training programs, and leveraging innovative learning technologies to maximize professional development outcomes across various industries we serve. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive Learning & Development strategy aligned with Career.zycto's overall business objectives and client needs.
  • Design, develop, and deliver innovative and engaging training programs, workshops, and e-learning modules for diverse audiences.
  • Conduct thorough needs assessments to identify skill gaps and development opportunities across various departments and client engagements.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of L&D programs using relevant metrics and feedback mechanisms, continually refining strategies for optimal impact.
  • Research and implement cutting-edge learning technologies and methodologies to enhance the learning experience and accessibility.
  • Manage the L&D budget, resources, and vendor relationships efficiently.
  • Coach and mentor junior L&D professionals, fostering a high-performing and collaborative team.
  • Collaborate with HR, senior management, and external partners to integrate L&D initiatives into broader talent management frameworks.
  • Stay abreast of industry best practices, emerging trends, and regulatory changes in learning and development.
  • Champion a culture of continuous learning and professional growth within the organization.

Required Skills

  • Proven leadership experience in Learning & Development or a related field (minimum 8 years).
  • Extensive knowledge of adult learning theories, instructional design principles, and training methodologies.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives concurrently.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in developing and delivering content across various platforms (in-person, virtual, blended).
  • Demonstrated ability to assess training needs, design effective programs, and measure ROI.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and e-learning authoring tools.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Education, or a related field.
  • Certification in L&D, HR, or Change Management (e.g., CPLP, SHRM-SCP, ODCP).
  • Experience working in a professional services or consulting environment.
  • Familiarity with talent analytics and data-driven L&D decision-making.
  • Experience in cross-cultural training and development.
