Job Description

Career.zycto is seeking an exceptional and visionary Director of Learning & Development to lead our strategic initiatives in talent growth and organizational capability. This critical leadership role involves designing, developing, and implementing comprehensive learning programs that align with our company’s objectives and foster a culture of continuous improvement across all levels of the organization. You will be instrumental in identifying skill gaps, forecasting future talent needs, and curating innovative solutions that empower our employees to reach their full potential and drive business success.

As the Director of Learning & Development, you will be responsible for creating a robust learning ecosystem that supports both individual career progression and our collective organizational goals. This includes overseeing all aspects of instructional design, technology-enhanced learning, leadership development, performance management, and employee engagement programs. You will leverage your expertise to establish best practices, evaluate the effectiveness of learning interventions, and ensure that our L&D strategies are agile and responsive to evolving market demands and internal requirements. This role requires a strategic thinker with a hands-on approach, capable of inspiring teams, fostering strong internal partnerships, and demonstrating measurable impact on workforce capabilities and productivity. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive L&D strategy that aligns with Career.zycto’s strategic goals and talent needs.
  • Oversee the design, development, and delivery of innovative learning programs, including e-learning modules, workshops, leadership development courses, and mentoring initiatives.
  • Conduct thorough needs assessments to identify skill gaps and future training requirements across all departments.
  • Manage the L&D budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness and optimal utilization of resources.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing L&D team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous professional growth.
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to evaluate the effectiveness and impact of L&D programs, reporting on ROI to senior leadership.
  • Research and integrate cutting-edge learning technologies and methodologies to enhance the learning experience.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including HR, departmental heads, and senior management, to ensure L&D initiatives are integrated and supported.
  • Manage relationships with external training providers and vendors, ensuring high-quality and relevant external learning opportunities.
  • Champion a culture of continuous learning, personal accountability, and professional development throughout the organization.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience in a senior Learning & Development role, preferably within a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong strategic planning and execution skills with a demonstrated ability to translate business needs into effective learning solutions.
  • Expertise in instructional design principles, adult learning theories, and modern learning technologies.
  • Exceptional leadership, coaching, and team management abilities.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, projects, and vendor relationships effectively.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to use data to inform decisions and measure impact.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Education, or a related field.
  • Relevant professional certifications (e.g., CPTD, ATD certifications).
  • Experience working within the professional services or recruitment industry.
  • Proficiency with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and other HR tech platforms.
  • Experience in change management and organizational development initiatives.
