Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive, long-term learning and development strategy aligned with Career.zycto's strategic goals and talent needs.
- Conduct thorough needs assessments to identify skill gaps and development opportunities across all employee levels and departments.
- Design, develop, and deliver innovative learning programs, workshops, and resources, utilizing a blended learning approach (e.g., e-learning, in-person, coaching, mentorship).
- Manage the L&D budget, resources, and vendor relationships, ensuring cost-effectiveness and high-quality program delivery.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a small team of L&D professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to evaluate the effectiveness and ROI of all learning initiatives, providing regular reports to senior leadership.
- Champion a culture of continuous learning, knowledge sharing, and professional growth within the organization.
- Research and integrate best practices, emerging trends, and new technologies in learning and development.
- Collaborate with HR and senior leaders on talent management, succession planning, and leadership development programs.
- Ensure all L&D initiatives comply with relevant industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Required Skills
- Proven experience (10+ years) in a leadership role within Learning & Development, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
- Deep expertise in instructional design, adult learning theories, and contemporary learning methodologies.
- Strong leadership, management, and team-building skills.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strategic thinking with the ability to translate business objectives into impactful L&D programs.
- Proficiency in learning technologies and HRIS systems.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects, budgets, and vendor relationships.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to measure and report on the effectiveness of L&D initiatives.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Education, or a related field.
- Relevant professional certifications (e.g., CPLP, SHRM-SCP, HRCI-SPHR).
- Experience working in the recruitment, professional services, or technology industry.
- Familiarity with the Zimbabwean talent market and cultural nuances.
