Key Responsibilities

  • Assist senior electrical technicians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment.
  • Prepare work sites by gathering and organizing tools, materials, and equipment as instructed.
  • Perform basic tasks such as cleaning components, pulling cables, and holding equipment.
  • Learn and apply safety procedures, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to lock-out/tag-out protocols.
  • Support in troubleshooting and diagnosing electrical issues under direct supervision.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including company vehicles and tools.
  • Operate basic hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
  • Transport equipment and materials to and from job sites.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development programs to enhance electrical knowledge and skills.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and follow instructions diligently.

Required Skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Basic understanding of electrical concepts (e.g., voltage, current, resistance) is a plus, but not required.
  • Strong physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs), climb, and work in various weather conditions.
  • Excellent work ethic and a proactive attitude towards learning.
  • Ability to follow instructions accurately and meticulously.
  • Commitment to safety protocols and procedures.
  • Effective verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications
