This is a unique ‘Work from Anywhere’ opportunity, allowing you the flexibility to contribute your expertise from your chosen location while maintaining a strong connection to our Singapore hub for compliance and regional context. In this critical role, you will be instrumental in fostering a positive, productive, and compliant work environment across our diverse workforce. You will serve as a trusted advisor, mediator, and investigator, ensuring fair and consistent application of company policies, labor laws, and ethical standards.
As an Employee Relations Specialist, you will manage a wide array of employee relations issues, from initial intake to resolution, including performance management, disciplinary actions, conflict resolution, grievance handling, and policy interpretation. The ideal candidate possesses a deep understanding of employment law nuances in various jurisdictions, with a particular emphasis on international best practices and experience navigating cross-cultural communication challenges inherent in a remote-first organization. You will be responsible for conducting thorough and impartial investigations, documenting findings, and recommending appropriate resolutions. This role demands exceptional communication skills, sound judgment, empathy, and the ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
Beyond reactive problem-solving, you will also play a proactive role in developing and implementing ER strategies, training programs, and preventive measures designed to enhance employee engagement, mitigate risks, and promote a culture of respect and accountability.
