Key Responsibilities
- Perform a comprehensive range of esthetic services including facials (classic, advanced, hydrafacial), chemical peels, microdermabrasion, waxing (full body), lash and brow tinting/lifting, and body treatments.
- Conduct thorough skin analyses and client consultations to identify individual needs and recommend personalized treatment plans and home care regimens.
- Maintain a pristine and sterile treatment environment, adhering to all health, safety, and hygiene standards.
- Educate clients on product knowledge and proper skincare techniques, promoting retail sales to enhance their results.
- Manage appointment bookings efficiently, ensuring timely service delivery and optimal client flow.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, fostering loyalty and encouraging repeat business.
- Actively participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with industry trends and techniques.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure a cohesive and positive salon atmosphere.
- Accurately record client information, treatment details, and product recommendations.
Required Skills
- NVQ Level 2/3 in Beauty Therapy or equivalent recognized qualification.
- Minimum of 1 year of practical experience as an Esthetician in a salon or spa setting.
- Proficiency in performing a wide range of facial treatments, waxing, and lash/brow services.
- Excellent knowledge of skin biology, common skin conditions, and appropriate treatment protocols.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to build rapport with clients.
- Demonstrated commitment to cleanliness, sanitation, and client safety.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional organizational and time management abilities, particularly with flexible scheduling.
Preferred Qualifications
- Additional certifications in advanced esthetic treatments (e.g., microblading, permanent makeup, advanced peels, laser hair removal).
- Experience with specific product lines commonly used in high-end salons.
- A client book or demonstrated ability to build a consistent clientele.
- Proficiency in using salon management software for booking and client records.
- First Aid certification.
