Key Responsibilities

  • Attend pre-examination briefings and familiarise yourself with examination regulations and procedures.
  • Prepare the examination room, ensuring all necessary materials (papers, stationery, etc.) are available and correctly distributed.
  • Give out examination papers and other materials according to instructions.
  • Clearly read out examination instructions to candidates and address any queries they may have regarding the instructions (without providing assistance with the content of the examination).
  • Supervise candidates constantly throughout the examination, ensuring exam conditions are maintained.
  • Be vigilant for any instances of malpractice, such as cheating or disruptive behaviour, and report them immediately.
  • Escort candidates who need to leave the room temporarily and ensure their return.
  • Collect examination papers and scripts accurately and efficiently at the end of the examination, ensuring all are accounted for.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality regarding all examination materials and candidate information.
  • Assist with the sealing and dispatch of examination scripts as required.
  • Adhere to all school policies and safeguarding procedures.
