Key Responsibilities
- Assist various departments (e.g., camera, lighting, sound, art, wardrobe) with on-set tasks as directed by crew leads.
- Perform general administrative duties such as running errands, managing paperwork, and distributing call sheets and scripts promptly.
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe set environment, including diligent striking and wrapping of locations.
- Facilitate clear and timely communication between crew members and departments to ensure smooth operational flow.
- Support talent and background actors with directions, scheduling reminders, and general assistance to ensure their comfort and readiness.
- Assist with the careful loading, unloading, and organization of equipment, ensuring proper handling and care.
- Manage and organize craft services and catering setup, ensuring crew needs are met and the area remains tidy.
- Be proactive in anticipating set needs and offering support where required, demonstrating initiative.
- Adhere strictly to production schedules, all established safety protocols, and company policies at all times.
Required Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Exceptional work ethic and a 'can-do' attitude, ready to tackle diverse tasks.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective team collaboration.
- Ability to work long and irregular hours, often including weekends and holidays, in various weather conditions.
- Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.

- Physical stamina and ability to lift and carry equipment up to 25 lbs (approx. 11 kg) comfortably.
- Reliable transportation to and from various set locations within the Hull, Gatineau area.
Preferred Qualifications
- Enrollment in or recent graduation from a film, media production, or related post-secondary program.
- Previous experience in a fast-paced, dynamic environment (e.g., event coordination, hospitality, retail).
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Basic knowledge of film set terminology and production workflows.
- First Aid/CPR certification is an asset.
