Key Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients by washing, peeling, chopping, and portioning according to recipes and chef instructions.
- Assist chefs with basic cooking tasks, including mixing, marinating, and simple food assembly.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of all kitchen areas, including workstations, equipment, and storage.
- Ensure proper storage and rotation of food items to minimize waste and comply with health and safety standards.
- Assist with receiving and stocking deliveries, verifying inventory against invoices.
- Operate basic kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
- Adhere to all food safety and hygiene regulations and procedures.
- Collaborate effectively with the culinary team and other lodge staff to ensure smooth service operations.
