Job Description

Are you a highly organised and detail-oriented professional with a passion for optimising processes and leveraging technology within a legal environment? Stevens & Bolton LLP is seeking a proactive Home-Based Legal Operations Executive to join our dynamic team. In this pivotal remote role, you will be instrumental in enhancing the efficiency, effectiveness, and innovation of our legal service delivery. You will work closely with our legal teams, IT department, and senior management to identify operational bottlenecks, streamline workflows, and implement technological solutions that drive productivity and client satisfaction. Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, analyse, and implement process improvements across various legal departments to enhance efficiency and reduce operational costs.
  • Manage and optimise legal technology solutions, including document management systems, case management software, e-billing platforms, and other LegalTech tools.
  • Develop and maintain robust reporting and analytics frameworks to track key performance indicators (KPIs) for legal operations.
  • Collaborate with legal teams to understand their operational needs and propose solutions that align with the firm's strategic goals.
  • Assist in the development and enforcement of best practices, policies, and procedures for legal operations.
  • Facilitate training and adoption of new technologies and processes among legal and administrative staff.
  • Act as a liaison between legal teams, IT, finance, and other internal departments to ensure seamless operational integration.
  • Stay abreast of emerging trends and technologies in legal operations and advise on their potential application within the firm.
  • Support project management initiatives related to legal operations transformation and innovation.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience in legal operations, project management, or business analysis within a legal or professional services environment.
  • Strong understanding of legal workflows and processes.
  • Proficiency with legal technology platforms (e.g., DMS, PMS, CRM, e-billing solutions).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with an ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Law, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Certification in Legal Project Management (LPM) or similar project management methodologies (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2).
  • Experience with process mapping and improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean Six Sigma).
  • Familiarity with data visualisation tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
  • Experience working in a remote or hybrid operational model.
