Key Responsibilities
- Perform daily watering, fertilizing, pruning, and pest control tasks for a wide range of plants.
- Assist with planting, transplanting, and repotting of seedlings, saplings, and mature plants.
- Prepare growing media, pots, and nursery beds according to specific plant requirements.
- Monitor plant health, identify common diseases and pests, and apply appropriate treatments under supervision.
- Operate and maintain basic nursery equipment and tools, ensuring their proper functionality and cleanliness.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the nursery grounds, potting areas, and storage facilities.
- Assist with inventory management, including counting and labeling plant stock.
- Provide basic customer service and advice on plant care when required.
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
- Contribute to general upkeep and beautification of the nursery premises.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in plant care, gardening, or a nursery setting.
