Key Responsibilities
- Sort and pre-treat laundry items according to fabric type, colour, and soil level.
- Operate commercial washing machines, dryers, and ironing equipment safely and efficiently.
- Monitor laundry cycles and adjust settings as needed to ensure optimal cleaning and drying.
- Inspect all laundered items for cleanliness, damage, and quality before folding and storing.
- Fold, stack, and organise a wide variety of linens, towels, and uniforms neatly.
- Maintain inventory of clean linens and replenish stock as required.
- Report any damaged linen or equipment malfunctions to management promptly.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene standards and procedures.
- Keep the laundry area clean, tidy, and organised at all times.
- Assist with other hotel duties as needed, supporting the housekeeping team.
