Job Description
Moorosi Lodge is urgently seeking a dedicated and meticulous Housekeeping Cleaner to join our vibrant team in Mount Moorosi. This is an immediate hiring opportunity for an individual passionate about maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction. As a Housekeeping Cleaner, you will be instrumental in ensuring all guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces are impeccably clean, tidy, and welcoming. Key Responsibilities
- Clean and tidy all assigned guest rooms and public areas, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, scrubbing, and polishing.
- Change bed linen and replenish towels and guest amenities according to lodge standards.
- Ensure all cleaning equipment is maintained, stored correctly, and used safely.
- Report any maintenance issues, damages, or safety hazards immediately to the supervisor.
- Handle guest requests promptly and courteously, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction.
- Adhere strictly to health and safety regulations, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and guest amenities, reporting needs to management.
- Collaborate effectively with other lodge staff to ensure a seamless guest experience.
- Assist with laundry duties as required, including washing, drying, folding, and ironing.
- Perform deep cleaning tasks periodically as scheduled.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in housekeeping or a similar cleaning role.
- Strong attention to detail and a high standard of cleanliness.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Good physical stamina and ability to perform tasks requiring bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
- Reliability and a strong work ethic.
- Basic knowledge of cleaning products and techniques.
- Ability to follow instructions and procedures accurately.
- Good communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
