Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation and distribution of new hire orientation materials and welcome kits.
  • Coordinate pre-employment checks, including background verifications and reference checks, ensuring compliance.
  • Schedule and facilitate engaging new employee orientation sessions, both virtually and in-person.
  • Ensure all new hire paperwork is completed accurately, electronically filed, and submitted in a timely manner.
  • Act as a primary point of contact for new employees, answering initial questions and guiding them through their first days.
  • Support the HR team with various administrative tasks related to the entire employee lifecycle.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee records within the HR information system (HRIS).
  • Assist in the continuous improvement of the onboarding process, suggesting innovative ideas for enhancing the new hire experience.
  • Collaborate effectively with IT, payroll, and department managers to ensure new hires have necessary access, equipment, and resources from day one.

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a diploma or degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Previous experience (even volunteer or internship) in an administrative, HR, or customer service role.
  • Familiarity with HR information systems (HRIS) or applicant tracking systems (ATS).
  • Basic understanding of HR principles, best practices, and employment laws.
