Key Responsibilities

  • Provide first-level technical support for hardware, software, and network issues, responding promptly to user requests.
  • Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, peripherals, software applications, and mobile devices.
  • Perform diagnostic tests and troubleshoot technical problems efficiently to ensure minimal downtime.
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and email systems (e.g., Microsoft 365, Google Workspace).
  • Conduct regular system maintenance, updates, and backups to ensure data integrity and security.
  • Document IT procedures, incident resolutions, and asset inventories accurately.
  • Assist in network administration tasks, including basic setup, monitoring, and security protocols.
  • Provide technical training and guidance to end-users on various IT systems and best practices.
  • Maintain an accurate inventory of IT assets and manage their lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with senior IT staff on project implementations, system upgrades, and infrastructure improvements.

Required Skills

  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of proven experience in an IT support or helpdesk role.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows and macOS operating systems, as well as common productivity suites like Microsoft Office.
  • Basic understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and Wi-Fi configurations.
  • Proficiency in diagnosing and troubleshooting hardware issues for desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripherals.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a methodical approach.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, capable of explaining technical concepts to non-technical users.
  • Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and data protection regulations.
