Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and coordinate daily kitchen operations, ensuring smooth workflow and timely service.
  • Supervise, train, and mentor kitchen staff, including cooks, prep cooks, and dishwashers.
  • Monitor food preparation methods, cooking times, and presentation to ensure adherence to quality standards.
  • Manage inventory, order supplies, and control food costs to minimize waste.
  • Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and hygiene regulations (HACCP, local food safety standards).
  • Assist in menu planning and development, incorporating seasonal ingredients and culinary trends.
  • Conduct regular quality control checks on incoming ingredients and prepared dishes.
  • Resolve operational issues and employee conflicts efficiently and professionally.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment.
  • Prepare schedules and assign duties to kitchen staff.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience as a Kitchen Supervisor or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, food preparation, and kitchen operations.
