Key Responsibilities
- Consult with clients to assess their insurance needs and recommend appropriate coverage options (life, health, auto, home, etc.).
- Explain complex insurance policies and terms in an understandable manner.
- Process new insurance applications, renewals, and policy changes accurately and efficiently.
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships through proactive communication and superior service.
- Conduct regular policy reviews with clients to ensure their coverage remains adequate for their evolving needs.
- Resolve client inquiries, concerns, and claims-related questions with professionalism and empathy.
- Stay current with industry trends, product knowledge, and regulatory changes.
- Actively participate in ongoing professional development and training sessions.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve departmental goals and enhance client satisfaction.
Required Skills
- Valid insurance license in Quebec (or ability to obtain quickly)
- Proven experience in the insurance industry, preferably in a client-facing role
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written)
- Strong understanding of various insurance products and policies
- Demonstrated ability to build rapport and trust with clients
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and client management software
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications
- Fluency in both English and French (bilingualism highly advantageous in Gatineau)
- Post-secondary education in a related field (e.g., Business Administration, Finance)
