Key Responsibilities

  • Assist senior project managers in planning, executing, and closing IT projects.
  • Help define project scopes, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Monitor project progress, track tasks, and ensure adherence to established timelines.
  • Participate in team meetings, taking notes and preparing summaries of discussions and action items.
  • Support the creation and maintenance of project documentation, including schedules, status reports, and risk logs.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders regarding project updates and potential issues.
  • Contribute to identifying and mitigating potential project risks and challenges.
  • Learn and apply various project management methodologies and tools.
  • Assist in coordinating resources and tasks to ensure smooth project execution.

Required Skills

  • Currently enrolled in a post-secondary program related to Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Basic understanding of IT concepts and systems.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience with academic or personal projects, demonstrating leadership or organizational roles.
