Key Responsibilities

  • Provide first-level technical support to end-users via phone, email, and in-person, resolving hardware and software issues efficiently.
  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot workstations, laptops, printers, and other peripheral equipment.
  • Assist with user account management, including creation, modification, and termination in Active Directory and other systems.
  • Document all support interactions, resolutions, and configurations in the ticketing system, maintaining accurate records.
  • Perform basic network troubleshooting, including connectivity tests and identifying common network issues.
  • Collaborate with senior IT staff on more complex technical issues, learning from their expertise.
  • Assist with IT asset inventory management and tracking.
  • Conduct routine system maintenance tasks, ensuring optimal performance and security.
  • Educate users on best practices for system usage and data security.
  • Participate in IT projects as required, contributing to system upgrades and deployments.

Required Skills

  • Basic understanding of Windows operating systems (Windows 10/11) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Familiarity with computer hardware components and basic troubleshooting.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical users.
