Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance, scalable backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
- Develop and maintain robust RESTful APIs to support various front-end applications and third-party integrations.
- Collaborate effectively with front-end developers, product managers, and other engineering teams to define and implement new features.
- Write clean, efficient, well-documented, and testable code following best practices and design patterns.
- Ensure the performance, security, and reliability of backend systems through rigorous testing and optimization.
- Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and contribute to technical decision-making.
- Integrate with various databases (SQL like PostgreSQL/MySQL and NoSQL like MongoDB/Redis) and caching solutions.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of our CI/CD pipelines and deployment strategies.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues in development, test, and production environments.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to recommend and implement innovative solutions.
Required Skills
- Strong proficiency in Java 8+ and the Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring Security, Spring Data JPA).
- Extensive experience in designing, developing, and consuming RESTful APIs.
- Solid understanding of relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and ORM frameworks (e.g., Hibernate, JPA).
- Proficiency with version control systems, particularly Git.
- Experience with Agile development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
- Familiarity with unit testing and integration testing frameworks (e.g., JUnit, Mockito).
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team.
- Understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.
