Key Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth legal research on complex points of law, statutes, and precedents, utilizing both national and international legal databases.

- Assist in the thorough preparation for court hearings, trials, and appellate proceedings, ensuring all necessary documentation is organized.
- Review and critically analyze case files, pleadings, motions, and other legal documents to identify key issues, relevant facts, and applicable legal principles.
- Liaise professionally with legal counsel, court staff, litigants, and other stakeholders as directed by the judge.
- Manage and organize all case materials, ensuring accuracy, accessibility, and compliance with court procedures and confidentiality rules.
- Attend court proceedings with the judge, taking detailed notes, and assisting in the courtroom as required.
- Maintain strict confidentiality and discretion regarding all judicial matters and sensitive information handled within chambers.
- Perform administrative duties related to chambers operations, including scheduling, correspondence management, and records keeping.
Required Skills
- Exceptional legal research abilities, proficient in utilizing major legal databases (e.g., Juris, Beck-Online, LexisNexis, Westlaw).
- Superior legal writing, drafting, and editing skills with impeccable grammar and syntax in both German and English.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking capabilities to assess complex legal arguments and identify salient points.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively under pressure.
