In this full-time, on-site role, you will be a vital member of the team, instrumental in creating, enhancing, and maintaining stunning landscapes. Your daily tasks will involve working with an array of materials and sophisticated tools, encompassing everything from precise planting of various flora and laying lush turf, to the intricate construction of durable hardscapes like patios, pathways, and retaining walls. Key Responsibilities

  • Execute landscape designs, including precise planting, turfing, and comprehensive garden bed preparation.
  • Construct and install various hardscapes such as patios, pathways, retaining walls, and fencing.
  • Safely operate and maintain a diverse range of landscaping equipment and tools (e.g., mowers, strimmers, mini-diggers).
  • Perform routine garden maintenance tasks including weeding, pruning, mulching, hedge trimming, and irrigation system checks.
  • Ensure all work is completed to the highest standards of quality and within specified timelines and budgets.
  • Adhere strictly to all health and safety guidelines and company operational procedures at all times.
  • Communicate effectively and professionally with team members, supervisors, and clients as required.
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work site, ensuring proper disposal of waste materials.
  • Assist with material loading, unloading, and efficient site clean-up upon project completion.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience as a Landscaper or in a similar outdoor maintenance role (minimum 2 years).
  • Proficiency in English, both spoken and written, for clear communication and understanding instructions.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of horticulture, including plant identification, care, and common garden maintenance techniques.
  • Practical experience with hardscaping installation, including paving, decking, and fencing.
  • Ability to operate a variety of landscaping machinery and hand tools safely and efficiently.
  • Strong physical stamina and resilience, with the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • A keen eye for detail, a commitment to quality workmanship, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Valid UK Driving Licence and ability to travel to various work sites across the region.

Preferred Qualifications

  • NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Horticulture, Landscaping, or a closely related field.
  • Possession of a valid CSCS card.
  • Experience with irrigation system installation, maintenance, or repair.
  • Basic understanding of landscape design principles and ability to interpret plans.
  • Current First Aid certification.
