Key Responsibilities
- Perform general landscape maintenance tasks, including mowing, trimming, pruning, weeding, and leaf removal.
- Plant and maintain trees, shrubs, flowers, and other plant materials according to design specifications.
- Operate and maintain various landscaping equipment such as mowers, trimmers, blowers, and small excavation machinery.
- Install and repair irrigation systems, ensuring efficient water usage.
- Construct hardscape features including patios, walkways, retaining walls, and fences.
- Prepare and cultivate soil, apply fertilizers, pesticides, and other treatments as needed.
- Ensure all work is performed safely and in compliance with industry standards and company policies.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate professionally with clients and supervisors.
- Transport materials and equipment to job sites.
Required Skills
- Minimum 1 year of professional landscaping or gardening experience.
- Proficiency in operating common landscaping tools and machinery.
- Strong knowledge of plant care, identification, and pest management.
- Ability to perform strenuous physical work in various weather conditions.
- Valid driver's license (or willingness to obtain one upon arrival).
