Key Responsibilities
- Assist in planting, cultivating, pruning, and watering flowers, shrubs, trees, and lawns.
- Perform general garden maintenance, including weeding, raking, and leaf blowing.
- Operate and maintain basic landscaping equipment safely and efficiently (e.g., mowers, trimmers, blowers) after proper training.
- Help with irrigation system checks and basic repairs under supervision.
- Ensure all pathways, common areas, and garden spaces are clean, tidy, and free of debris.
- Assist senior landscapers with more complex tasks and projects as directed.
- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and company guidelines for groundskeeping.
- Report any equipment malfunctions, pest issues, or garden health concerns to supervisors promptly.
- Contribute to a positive, collaborative, and respectful team environment.
- Uphold the aesthetic standards of Jakes Hotel grounds at all times, ensuring a welcoming environment for guests.
