Career.zycto is seeking a visionary and results-driven Learning & Development Manager to join our growing team in Oakridge, London. Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive training needs analyses across various departments to identify skill gaps and development opportunities.
  • Design, develop, and deliver engaging learning programs, workshops, and e-learning modules covering a range of topics including leadership development, technical skills, compliance, and soft skills.
  • Manage the full training lifecycle from conceptualisation to evaluation, ensuring all initiatives are effective, impactful, and achieve desired outcomes.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, subject matter experts, and external vendors to create high-quality, relevant learning content and resources.
  • Implement and manage our Learning Management System (LMS), ensuring optimal functionality and user engagement.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of all L&D initiatives using key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide regular reports to senior management.
  • Research and integrate innovative learning technologies and methodologies to enhance the overall learning experience.
  • Coach and mentor employees and managers on development pathways and career growth opportunities.
  • Ensure all L&D activities comply with relevant industry standards and company policies.
  • Manage the L&D budget, ensuring cost-effective allocation of resources.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organisational Development, Education, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in a dedicated Learning & Development role, with at least 2 years in a managerial or senior capacity.
  • Proven experience in designing, developing, and delivering a wide range of training programs.
  • Strong understanding of adult learning principles, instructional design methodologies, and learning technologies (e.g., LMS, e-learning authoring tools).
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage projects, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and evaluate program effectiveness.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree or professional certification in L&D (e.g., CIPD, ATD).
  • Experience with a variety of LMS platforms and virtual learning environments.
  • Familiarity with talent management and performance appraisal systems.
  • Experience within the recruitment or professional services industry.
