Job Description

Career.zycto is seeking dedicated and empathetic Live In Carers to provide compassionate, round-the-clock support to individuals in their own homes throughout Ripon, North Yorkshire. This is an incredibly rewarding opportunity to make a tangible difference to someone’s quality of life, enabling them to maintain their independence and comfort in familiar surroundings. As a Live In Carer, you will become an integral part of our client’s daily life, offering not just practical assistance but also vital companionship and emotional support.

This unique role requires a special kind of person – someone with genuine warmth, resilience, and a profound respect for others. You will live with the client, typically for a period of weeks at a time, providing personalised care tailored to their specific needs. This could range from assisting with personal care, medication management, meal preparation, and light household duties, to accompanying clients to appointments, engaging in hobbies, or simply sharing a cup of tea and a conversation. The goal is to foster a safe, stimulating, and supportive environment where clients can thrive.

We understand the commitment a live-in role demands, which is why we offer comprehensive support and a competitive remuneration package, including full accommodation within the client’s home. This means no worries about rent or utility bills while you are on assignment, allowing you to focus entirely on providing outstanding care. You will have your own private space within the client’s home, ensuring you have time for rest and personal activities. Our clients benefit immensely from the continuity of care and the trusted relationships built with their Live In Carers.

If you possess a caring nature, excellent communication skills, and a desire to empower individuals to live their best lives, we encourage you to apply. This role is more than just a job; it’s a chance to build meaningful connections, contribute positively to the community, and grow both personally and professionally within a supportive network. We are committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive workforce and welcome applications from all backgrounds.
