Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and monitor all supply chain operations, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of goods.
- Prepare and process essential shipping documentation, including bills of lading, customs forms, and commercial invoices.
- Track and trace shipments proactively, providing regular and accurate updates to internal stakeholders and clients.
- Communicate effectively and professionally with carriers, suppliers, and internal teams to swiftly resolve logistics issues.
- Analyze logistics data and performance metrics to identify areas for process improvement and implement efficiency enhancements.
- Manage inventory levels and coordinate warehousing activities as needed to maintain optimal stock.
- Ensure strict compliance with all relevant shipping regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
- Assist in negotiating favorable rates and terms with freight forwarders and transportation carriers.
Required Skills
- Proven experience (minimum 2 years) as a Logistics Coordinator or in a similar supply chain role.
- Proficiency in logistics software (e.g., Transportation Management Systems (TMS), Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)) and MS Office Suite.
- Strong understanding of fundamental supply chain management principles and best practices.
