Job Description
Career.zycto is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Logistics Coordinator to join our growing team in Old Harbour Bay, Old Harbour. This professional role is pivotal in ensuring the efficient and timely flow of goods from our warehouse to our valued customers. As a Logistics Coordinator, you will be the linchpin connecting various operational functions, managing the entire lifecycle of our products from inbound receipt to outbound delivery. You will be instrumental in optimizing warehouse processes, coordinating transportation schedules, and meticulously tracking shipments to guarantee operational excellence and customer satisfaction.
Your day-to-day will involve a blend of strategic planning and hands-on execution. You will manage inventory levels, ensure accurate stock rotation, and oversee the preparation of orders for dispatch. A critical aspect of this role is liaising with internal teams, suppliers, and third-party logistics partners to resolve any logistical challenges swiftly and effectively. Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and monitor inbound and outbound logistics operations, including warehousing, transportation, and delivery.
- Manage inventory levels, conduct regular stock audits, and ensure data accuracy in the inventory management system.
- Plan and optimize delivery routes and schedules to maximize efficiency and minimize costs.
- Liaise with suppliers, transporters, and internal departments to ensure timely and accurate deliveries and resolve discrepancies.
- Oversee the proper loading and unloading of goods, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and product integrity.
- Process shipping documentation, customs declarations, and other necessary paperwork for local and international movements.
- Track and trace shipments, providing real-time updates to relevant stakeholders.
- Identify and implement process improvements within warehouse and delivery operations to enhance efficiency and reduce lead times.
- Prepare regular reports on logistics performance, including delivery metrics, inventory status, and operational costs.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant transportation regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or warehouse management.
- Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, and dispatch.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of effective collaboration with diverse teams.
- Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to operational challenges.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
Preferred Qualifications
