Key Responsibilities

  • Warmly greet and check-in patients upon arrival, verifying personal and insurance information.
  • Schedule and confirm appointments efficiently, managing a multi-provider calendar system.
  • Answer incoming calls, triage inquiries, and direct them to the appropriate department or individual.
  • Process patient registrations, update electronic health records (EHR), and maintain accurate patient data.
  • Handle patient queries, provide information about services, and assist with general administrative support.
  • Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence, including faxes, emails, and postal mail.
  • Process payments, issue receipts, and manage billing inquiries under guidance.
  • Maintain a tidy and welcoming reception area, ensuring patient privacy and confidentiality.
  • Assist with clinic opening and closing procedures, including preparing daily schedules and reports.
  • Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure seamless patient flow and address any operational challenges.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience in a customer service or administrative role, preferably within a healthcare setting.
