In this role, you will be responsible for the full lifecycle of music licensing, from initial inquiry and rights clearance to contract negotiation and ongoing compliance. This includes working closely with artists, producers, labels, publishers, and various media platforms such as film, television, advertising, video games, and digital content creators. A deep understanding of global copyright laws, publishing agreements, master recording rights, and synchronization licensing is paramount. You will also be tasked with meticulously maintaining our rights management database, tracking usage, and ensuring that all licensing activities adhere to both legal requirements and client objectives. Key Responsibilities

  • Liaise with artists, songwriters, music publishers, labels, and production companies to facilitate licensing deals.
  • Monitor global music usage, track royalties, and ensure timely and accurate payment distribution.
  • Identify and pursue new licensing opportunities and revenue streams for existing and new catalog assets.
  • Stay informed on evolving copyright laws, intellectual property rights, and industry best practices.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance on complex licensing issues to internal teams and external partners.
  • Prepare and review licensing contracts, ensuring all terms and conditions are met.

Required Skills

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in music licensing, rights management, or a related field.
