Career.zycto is thrilled to partner with a wonderful, busy family in Downtown Bridgeport, Connecticut, seeking a highly experienced, compassionate, and dedicated Full-Time Nanny to provide exceptional care for their infant. Key Responsibilities
- Provide full-spectrum, attentive care for an infant, including feeding, changing, bathing, and dressing.
- Establish and maintain consistent sleep schedules and routines that support healthy development.
- Engage the infant in age-appropriate developmental activities, play, and sensory exploration.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of the infant at all times, maintaining a clean and hazard-free environment.
- Prepare healthy meals and snacks for the infant, adhering to any dietary restrictions or preferences.
- Perform light tidying of infant's play areas, nursery, and common spaces used during the day.
- Communicate daily with parents regarding the infant's activities, progress, and any concerns.
- Administer medication as required, with prior instruction and parental consent.
- Manage and organize infant's belongings, toys, and supplies.
- Potentially assist with infant-related errands or appointments as needed.
Required Skills
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable professional infant care experience.
- In-depth knowledge of infant development milestones and best practices.
- Current CPR and First Aid certification (Infant/Child specific).
- Exceptional patience, nurturing demeanor, and strong communication skills.
- Ability to create a stimulating, safe, and positive environment.
- Punctual, reliable, and highly organized with strong time management skills.
- Legal eligibility to work in the U.S. and a clean background check.
Preferred Qualifications
- Relevant degree or certifications in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field.
- Experience with sleep training methods and establishing healthy routines.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Ability to swim (for potential water play supervision).
- Bilingual skills are a plus, but not required.
