Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging, interactive, and personalized online English lessons to students of varying ages and proficiency levels.
- Develop and adapt lesson plans and teaching materials to meet individual student needs and learning goals.
- Provide constructive feedback on grammar, pronunciation, vocabulary, and conversational skills to facilitate student progress.
- Manage a virtual classroom effectively, ensuring a positive, supportive, and productive learning atmosphere.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and performance.
- Stay updated on best practices in English language teaching and online instruction methodologies.
- Communicate regularly with students and, where applicable, their parents/guardians regarding learning progress.
Required Skills
- Native or near-native fluency in English with excellent pronunciation and grammar.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in using online teaching platforms, video conferencing tools, and digital resources.
- Patience, empathy, and strong cross-cultural communication abilities.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- A reliable high-speed internet connection, a quiet workspace, a functioning computer, and a webcam/headset.
- Ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule.
Preferred Qualifications
- TESOL, TEFL, CELTA, or equivalent English language teaching certification.
- Bachelor's degree in English, Education, Linguistics, or a related field.
- Prior experience (at least 6 months) in online English teaching or classroom teaching.
- Experience teaching specific age groups (e.g., young learners, teenagers) or for specific purposes (e.g., business English, exam preparation).
- Bilingualism is an advantage but not required.
