Job Description

Career.zycto is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Performance Test Engineer to join our growing team in Bristol. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the scalability, reliability, and responsiveness of our critical software applications. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing comprehensive performance test strategies across various platforms, identifying bottlenecks, and collaborating closely with development teams to resolve performance issues.

This position calls for an individual with a deep understanding of performance testing methodologies, tools, and best practices. Your day-to-day will involve creating detailed performance test plans, developing automated test scripts using industry-standard tools, analyzing complex performance data, and providing actionable insights to optimize application performance. You will also be responsible for establishing performance baselines, conducting load, stress, and endurance tests, and ensuring that our applications meet stringent performance non-functional requirements.

We are looking for someone who is not just a tester, but a true performance advocate – someone who can proactively identify potential performance risks, suggest architectural improvements, and champion a performance-first mindset throughout the engineering organization. You will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies, contribute to the evolution of our testing frameworks, and make a significant impact on the quality and user experience of our products. If you are passionate about pushing systems to their limits, solving complex performance challenges, and driving continuous improvement, we encourage you to apply and become a key player in our innovative team.
