Key Responsibilities
- Manage a comprehensive caseload of personal injury claims, including car accidents, slip and falls, and other negligence-based incidents.
- Conduct client interviews, evaluate cases, and develop effective legal strategies.
- Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests and responses, and other legal documents.
- Negotiate settlements with insurance companies and opposing counsel.
- Represent clients in depositions, mediations, arbitrations, and trials.
- Perform legal research to support case strategies and arguments.
- Maintain clear and consistent communication with clients regarding case progress.
- Adhere to all ethical rules and professional responsibilities.
Required Skills
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
- Active license to practice law in the state of Missouri.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience practicing personal injury law.
- Proven track record of success in negotiating settlements and litigating personal injury cases.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in legal research software and case management systems.
- Exceptional client relations and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Trial experience with a verifiable record of jury verdicts.
