As a Pipeline Maintenance Worker, you will be instrumental in the routine inspection, preventative maintenance, and prompt repair of diverse pipeline systems, including water, gas, and wastewater lines. Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and repair of pipeline systems (water, gas, wastewater).
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues such as leaks, blockages, and structural damage.
- Conduct excavation, pipe fitting, welding, and other repair tasks as required.
- Operate and maintain a variety of specialised tools, machinery, and diagnostic equipment.
- Implement corrosion control measures and participate in infrastructure upgrade projects.
- Strictly adhere to all health, safety, and environmental regulations and company policies.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and equipment inspections.
- Respond promptly to emergency call-outs and unplanned maintenance situations.
- Collaborate effectively with team members, engineers, and other stakeholders.
- Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics to execute work plans.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in pipeline maintenance, construction, or a related field.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools relevant to pipe work.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
- Valid UK Driving License.
- Demonstrated commitment to health and safety protocols.
- Physical fitness and ability to perform demanding manual labour in various weather conditions.

Preferred Qualifications
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Civil Engineering, Pipeline Operations, or a related discipline.
- Confined Space entry certification.
- First Aid certification.
