Career.zycto is on the lookout for a talented and passionate Product Designer to join our dynamic team in Bedminster, Bristol. As a Product Designer, you will be deeply involved in every stage of the product lifecycle. You’ll translate complex user needs and business requirements into elegant design solutions, utilising your expertise in user research, wireframing, prototyping, and UI design. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive user research, usability testing, and data analysis to inform design decisions.
- Translate user needs, business requirements, and technical constraints into compelling user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups.
- Collaborate closely with Product Managers to define product strategy, roadmap, and features.
- Work alongside Engineers to ensure design feasibility and proper implementation, providing clear specifications and assets.
- Iterate on designs based on feedback from users, stakeholders, and analytical data.
- Maintain and evolve design systems, patterns, and guidelines to ensure consistency across products.
- Present design concepts and articulate rationale to cross-functional teams and leadership.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, tools, and best practices in UI/UX design and technology.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Product Designer, UI/UX Designer, or similar role.
- A strong portfolio showcasing a robust design process and successful product launches.
- Proficiency with industry-standard design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD).
- Solid understanding of user-centered design principles, usability, and accessibility standards.
- Experience conducting user research and interpreting data to drive design decisions.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience with motion design or animation for user interfaces.
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
- Basic understanding of front-end development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) to better communicate with engineers.
- Experience designing for multiple platforms (web, mobile, tablet).
