Job Description

Career.zycto is actively seeking motivated and diligent Textile Workers to fill immediate openings in Massinga, Inhambane Province. As a Textile Worker, you will be an integral part of the production line, contributing directly to the creation of high-quality fabrics and textile products that meet both local and international market demands.

Your daily tasks will involve operating various machinery such as looms, spinning machines, dyeing equipment, and finishing machines, handling raw materials like cotton, synthetic fibers, and dyes, monitoring production processes to detect any irregularities, and ensuring that all output meets stringent quality standards set by the industry. This role requires a keen eye for detail, a commitment to precision, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team. You will receive comprehensive training on specific equipment operation, material handling, and quality control procedures, making this an ideal role for individuals eager to learn and grow within the textile industry, regardless of prior extensive experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate and monitor textile production machinery (e.g., looms, spinning, dyeing, finishing equipment).
  • Load and unload raw materials and finished products onto production lines.
  • Perform quality checks on materials and finished goods to ensure adherence to standards.
  • Identify and report any machine malfunctions, defects in products, or safety hazards.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Adhere strictly to all company safety policies and procedures, including wearing appropriate PPE.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to meet production targets.
  • Assist with minor machine adjustments and basic maintenance tasks as instructed.
  • Follow production schedules and prioritize tasks to ensure timely completion.
  • Accurately record production data and report on daily output.
